A day in every room
Each room keeps this rhythm at its own pace.
Early morning
Arrival
A teacher meets each child at the room door, and you sign in at the front desk. Children who arrive hungry have a snack.
Mid-morning
Play and learning
Circle time with songs in English and Spanish and a short prayer, then blocks, paint, books and play kitchens.
Midday
Lunch
We say a blessing together, then eat at small tables with a teacher. Tell us about allergies at the tour.
After lunch
Rest
Babies sleep on their backs, in their own cots, with nothing else in the cot. Older children rest on cots in a quiet room.
Afternoon
Outside
Time in the yard, with a teacher at every corner: running, swings, the seesaw and the slide.
Late afternoon
Pickup
A teacher hands each child to you at the room door and tells you how the day went.
