Family policies
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting or a rash that could spread, and until your child has been well for a full day. If a child becomes ill here, we call you and a teacher stays with the child.
Drop-off and pickup
Children go home only with the people on your written pickup list, and a teacher hands each child to you at the room door.
Late pickup
If you are going to be late, call the front desk. A teacher stays with your child, and if it keeps happening, Higinia talks with you about a schedule that fits your day.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Children have a snack in the morning, lunch and a snack in the afternoon. We post the menu at the door. Tell us about allergies at the tour, and we ask again in private once you enroll.
Naps and safe sleep
Babies sleep on their backs, in their own cots, with nothing else in the cot. Older children rest on cots in a quiet room, with a blanket from home.
Closures for weather and holidays
We follow the parish calendar: we close for the feast days on the calendar, for national holidays and for Christmas week. When the county's schools close for weather, we close too, and we call every family.
Leaving the program
We ask for a month's notice in writing, so the place can go to the next family on the waitlist.
